This estimator is provided to help you calculate the baseline costs per term of attending the UO as an admitted student. Please
note that
additional fees and/or discounts may apply depending on the specific courses in which you enroll and the course of study you pursue. More information on fees can be found on the "How Much Will it Cost?" page.
The Tuition and Fees Estimator does not provide an official assessment of your total term's tuition and fees. For the actual amount,
access
your student account on DuckWeb after you register. Official fee assessment appears on your account starting on the fifteenth day of the month prior to the term for which you’ve registered.
This tool is here to help you begin your budgeting process. These numbers are only estimates!
Notes for fees
This total does not take into account course fees, resource fees for additional majors or courses that are offered self-support or are tuition discounted.
Course fees are charged for some classes. These are additional fees which are used for films, field trips, special equipment, and other expenses. Course fees are noted on individual classes in the online class schedule when the green $ appears.
When you use the class schedule to select your courses, look for a Footnote of “T” in the “Notes” column. Click on either the Notes or on the underlined CRN of the class to find the amount of self-support tuition being assessed for that course. If any of your courses are self support, you need to make sure that you add the self-support amount listed to your total cost but don’t count those credits as part of your tuition and fees above.
Tuition Discounted courses are courses starting prior to 9:00 a.m. or after 3:00 p.m. and enrolling one hundred or more students. By enrolling in these classes, you may be eligible for the tuition-discount program. Use the online class schedule to search for "Reduced-Tuition Courses.”
Community Education Program students must refer to this table for tuition and fee information.
New for 2008-2009: The Energy, Technology, and Registration fees are now rolled into the base tuition for undergraduates.
