About Fees

  • A one-time Matriculation fee is assessed on all new and transfer students — $389 Undergraduate / $389 Graduate and Law.
  • A one-time $150 Event Fee is assessed on all new and transfer Law students, to cover Commencement-related costs.
  • Students enrolled in off-campus programs (OIMB and Portland only) are assessed 50% of the Incidental fee.
  • Qualified tuition and fees do not include student health insurance fees for Tax Relief Act reporting.
  • Students enrolled in the Portland programs use the Portland State University Student Health Center, and pay the same Health Service Fee as PSU students.
  • Students coded as international undergraduates will be assessed a $200 support fee each term during the regular academic year.
  • International undergraduate and graduate students are automatically enrolled in the UO International Student Health Insurance Plan ($635 per term for academic year 2016-17) unless proof of other insurance that meets certain requirements is provided and a required waiver is completed.
  • Students in the Community Education Program (CEP) are billed tuition based on the level of the course. Mandatory fees are billed based on the student's level (undergraduate or graduate).

Tuition and fees on this page are derived from Tuition and Mandatory Fees, an annual Office of Budget and Resource Planning publication.
