2009-2010 Tuition and Fee Structure

Tuition and Fees are the basic mandatory enrollment fees. They are based on three criteria:

  • Residency (in-state or out-of-state)
  • Student Level (Undergraduate, Graduate, Law, etc.)
  • Number credits you are enrolled in (undergraduate and/or graduate)

Additional programmatic fees will be charged depending upon your major. Course-specific fees may also apply. For more detailed information, see How Much Will it Cost?.

The OUS Fee Book for 2009-2010 includes seven tables listing the required fees for University of Oregon (Undergraduate/Graduate, Law, programmatic fees, part-time fees, housing fees, etc.)

    credit hour:    		 424.00            
    1 A one-time Matriculation fee is assessed on all new and transfer students — $300 Undergraduate / $300 Graduate and Law.
    2 The Energy, Technology, and Registration fees are being rolled into base tuition for graduate students.
    3 Students enrolled in off-campus programs (OIMB and Portland only) are assessed 50% of the Incidental fee.
    4 Qualified tuition and fees do not include student health insurance fees for Tax Relief Act reporting.
    5 Students enrolled at the Portland Center pay a Health Service Fee of $177 and use the PSU Student Health Center.
