How to Order Transcripts on Duckweb
Transcript orders can now be placed online through DuckWeb. (See also: Transcript Requests.)
Basic Steps
- In DuckWeb, select "Student Menu", "Grades & Transcripts Menu".
- Select "Request Official Transcript" or "Unofficial Transcripts", depending on the type of transcript you require.
- Follow the steps outlined below.
Note: A $5 "Excessive Transcript Order Fee" is charged (for every transcript over the limit) if more than five transcript copies are ordered in a single day, or more than thirty in a single 12-month period.

How to Order Transcripts on Duckweb
Unofficial Transcript Orders
- Log into DuckWeb, select "Student Menu" and then "Grades & Transcripts Menu".
- Select "Unofficial Transcripts" and then select "Undergraduate" or "Graduate" from the drop-down list.
- Click "Display Transcript".
Official Transcript Orders
- Log into DuckWeb, select "Student Menu" and then "Grades & Transcripts Menu".
- Select "Request Official Transcript".
- When you see your contact information, confirm that it is correct. (If it is not, click "Change Address/Phone Information" and update your contact information.)
- If you wish to include a name on your transcript that is not the name under which you attended the University of Oregon (e.g. you have changed your name since attending), enter it into the "Current Name (if changed)" field. This will not change your name in your official student record. It merely adds a line to your transcript referencing the name you type into this field.
- Choose a delivery method and click "Select & Continue".
Delivery Methods
| "Go Green" Secure Electronic PDF Transcripts | Your transcript(s) will be sent within 30 minutes of your order to an email address you provide. (This service is only available to students who attended since Fall Term 1986.) |
| Student Pickup | Your transcript(s) will be available at the Registrar’s Office 3-5 business days from the day you place the transcript order. |
| Mail to Student (at contact address above) | Your transcript(s) will be sent to the mailing address listed under "Current Contact Information". (Make sure this is the correct address before completing your order!) |
| Mail to Recipient | Your transcript(s) will be sent to a mailing address you provide on the next page (after clicking "Select & Continue"). |
| Send to College or University | Your transcript(s) will be sent to the location you pick on the next page (after clicking "Select & Continue"). (See below for more details.) |
| Send to Professional Society / Organization | Your transcript(s) will be sent to the location you pick on the next page (after clicking "Select & Continue"). (See below for more details.) |
- On the next page, select or fill in the various fields according to the delivery method you selected above.
- If your transcript is to be sent as an electronic PDF to an email address ("Go Green Secure Electronic PDF Transcript"), fill in the email address you wish the transcript(s) sent to.
- If your transcript is to be sent to the student's address ("Mail to Student"), your address will be displayed.
- If your transcript is to be sent to a specific recipient ("Mail to Recipient"), fill in the Recipient Information fields.
- If your transcript is to be sent to a college or university, select a state or country, click "List Colleges" and select a college name from the drop-down list. Check the address shown here carefully and if necessary, fill in a department or person name. If you wish to specify a different address for the college or university, click "Start Over" and choose the "Mail to Recipient" option instead.
- If your transcript is to be sent to a professional society or organization, pick one from the drop-down list or enter it manually, listing a department name if necessary. Note: If your transcript is to be sent to one of the professional societies listed in the drop-down list, the "Rush" and "Overnight" options will not be available because these transcripts are sent out electronically several times a day.
- If you wish to rush or overnight this order, check a box next to "Rush" or "Overnight Mail". See Cost Information, below.
- If you wish to hold your transcript order for the current term’s grades or the posting of a degree, check the "Hold for Grades" or "Hold for Degree" box depending on which option you require. (These options are not available for the “Go green” Secure Electronic PDF transcripts.)
Please note that your computer must use a Western European character set. Any other character set may result in printing problems, in which case the transcript request will not be processed.
Cost Information
| Regular | $0 | Free up to five per day and 30 per twelve month period. Requests are sent out in three to five business days. |
| Rush | $15 per address | Requests are mailed out same day if received before 10:00 am Pacific Time. Orders placed after 10:00 am Pacific Time are mailed out the following business day. |
| Overnight | $15 Rush fee per address, plus cost of delivery | Requests are sent out the same day using a standard overnight courier service if received before 10:00am Pacific Time on a business day. Orders placed after 10:00 am Pacific Time are mailed out the following business day. Standard overnight service does not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or certain holidays; therefore, transcripts sent overnight on Friday will be delivered on the next business day. |
Please note:
- Payment for Rush, Overnight, and/or Excess Transcripts is required. If payment is not received your order will not be processed. Please use the Credit Card Charge Authorization on Page 2.
- A $5 "Excessive Transcript Order Fee" is charged (for every transcript over the limit) if more than five transcript copies are ordered in a single day, or more than thirty in a single 12-month period.
- Couriers will not deliver to PO Box addresses; therefore, we will ship to PO Boxes via US Express mail instead.
- You may choose to hold your transcript order for the current term’s grades or the posting of a degree. Transcripts held for grades will not be mailed until your grades are posted for the term. Transcripts held for degree will not be mailed until the degree is posted. (These options are not available for the “Go green” Secure Electronic PDF transcripts.)
- When you are ready to move to the next step, click "Review & Verify request".
- Read over your request information carefully. If any changes are required, click "Make Changes" or "Start Over".
- Click "Submit Request" to finalize your request. Your order will be processed and charged to your UO account at this time.
Congratulations, you have successfully ordered an official transcript through DuckWeb!
Additional Considerations
- To check how many transcripts you have ordered and how close to this limit you might be, click on "List Transcript Requests" on the "Grade and Transcripts Menu". Note: A $5 "Excessive Transcript Order Fee" is charged (for every transcript over the limit) if more than five transcript copies are ordered in a single day, or more than thirty in a single 12-month period.
- Transcript Requests may be submitted via DuckWeb, mail (not email), fax or in person. Email and telephone requests are not permitted or honored.
- Students must request their own transcripts; another person may not request a student’s transcript without written authorization from that student.
- Transcripts will not be issued if any University of Oregon office has placed a hold on the student’s academic record.
- University or Oregon will not provide copies of test scores, such as TOEFL, GRE, SAT, or GMAT, or transcripts of work from other institutions.
- Finally, if your last term at the University of Oregon was prior to 1986, you will need to submit your request by fax or mail only. Download the Transcript Request Form here.
