Refunds are based on assessed tuition and class fees, and are calculated from the date you officially drop a class or reduce credits, not the date of your last class attendance. Your registration will not be cancelled for nonpayment of tuition. You must either pay your tuition and fees or notify the University if you do not intend to complete the term.

Refunds are processed as a credit to your account. A check will be issued to you for any remaining amount after accounts receivable and aid/remission repayments have been satisfied. Allow about six weeks for processing a refund. Checks for tuition and/or class fees in amounts less than $3.00 are not normally refundable.

Summer: Deadlines for adding, dropping, and withdrawing from summer courses, along with the refund dates for these actions, are posted with each course in the Schedule of Classes. Be aware that each course has different dates and deadlines. To view these deadlines, go to classes.uoregon.edu and find the course, then click on the CRN of the course (the five-digit number that is underlined) to get to the detail page about the course.

If you drop one or more classes and remain enrolled in at least 1 credit for the term, use this schedule.

Applies anytime credits are reduced, even if the student enrolls in another course on the same date or later.

If you drop or withdraw from ALL classes for the term, use this schedule.

All dates listed are effective for the entire date (12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.) and are based on Pacific time zone.
