Undergraduate Students Enrolling in Graduate-Level Classes

Undergraduate students are not normally permitted to register for graduate-level classes. However, a matriculated undergraduate student with a GPA of at least 3.00 in the last three terms of UO work may petition to register for up to a maximum of three graduate-level courses, subject to the approval of the instructor and the Graduate School.

To petition, students must complete a Reservation of Graduate Credit application prior to the term of registration. If approved, the Graduate School will give the student an authorization form to bring to the Office of the Registrar to complete registration.

Community Education Program (CEP) students are not eligible to petition and will not be approved to enroll in graduate-level classes.
