Registration Priority Schedule
Registration priority is based on the number of credits accumulated (not counting current registration if you are a continuing UO student) and the last three digits of your UO ID number.
Your registration priority date/time is now available via DuckWeb. Select the Student Menu tab, then Registration Menu, and then on Check Registration Eligibility.
Your registration priority date/time will be available via DuckWeb on Monday, 29 April, 2019.
Priority Registration - How it Works
Students register for classes through DuckWeb, an online tool available to all admitted students at the University of Oregon. To check your registration eligibility, log into DuckWeb, click on Student Menu > Registration Menu > Check Registration Eligibility. Registration priority is based on:
- the number of credits you have accumulated (not counting your current registration if you are a continuing UO student) and
- the last three digits of your UO ID number
Priority is given to graduate students, then undergraduates and finally Community Education Program (CEP) students. Seniors register before juniors, etc. Within each class level (senior, junior, sophomore, freshman), students are further divided into three groups based on number of credits accumulated, as shown here:
|1. Graduate Students||8. Sophomores with 75-89 credits|
|2. Post-Bacs and Seniors with 165+ credits||9. Sophomores with 60-74 credits|
|3. Seniors with 150-164 credits||10. Sophomores with 45-59 credits|
|4. Seniors with 135-149 credits||11. Freshmen with 30-44 credits|
|5. Juniors with 120-134 credits||12. Freshmen with 15-29 credits|
|6. Juniors with 105-119 credits||13. Freshmen with 0-14 credits|
|7. Juniors with 90-104 credits||14. Community Education Program (CEP) students|
Initial Registration runs between eight and ten business days, beginning the eighth week of the prior term (for the regular academic year). Start times are assigned on the half-hour, beginning at 7am and ending at 6:00pm. Once your start time has passed, you can log into DuckWeb as often as you want to register for classes. DuckWeb is available 24 hours a day except during maintenance and upgrade windows (Friday evenings from 7-11 p.m. and the second weekend of each month).
