Religious Observances

The University of Oregon is committed to creating an engaging environment and academic experience for students of all faiths and religions. We are committed to complying with state and federal laws and regulations to support reasonable religious accommodations for students.

Students who need to be absent from a class for religious obligation or observance must communicate and make arrangements with instructors in advance. Please use the Religious Accommodation Request Form by the end of week two. One form is required for each observance. So, if there are two religious observances in one term, students will need to complete two forms, one for each observance.
