Non-Degree Credits for Transfer

While taking classes under the non-degree enrollment program, students may earn credits toward future degrees at the University of Oregon or degrees at other institutions. Non-degree credits are a permanent part of a student’s transcript so students may transfer their credits to another institution by requesting to have their transcript sent to their other school.

Transfer Report

Students who are transferring out of the University of Oregon may need our assistance to send their Common Application or a transfer report to their new institution. The transfer report asks for the university to certify a student’s good character, dates of enrollment, and GPA. Providing the report requires collaboration between the Office of the Registrar and Student Conduct and Community Standards.

To request our support with the transfer report, you will need to initiate the request in the Common application. Then, you'll need to submit a consent form to us so we can begin to process your request. If you have questions during the process, please email us at transfercredits@uoregon.edu.
