Most transfer courses will come in as elective or smart code. These smart codes will apply electives to core education requirement. More information about smart codes can be found on our site: Transfer Smart Codes.
If you have a transfer course that may be appropriate for a UO-direct equivalent or should have core education attributes applied, please submit your request below. You will have the option to provide a course syllabus within the web form.
- For a transfer course to be approved for UO-direct equivalent, the content must have at least 70% overlap. If a UO-direct equivalent is not approved, an exception to a major/minor requirement can be requested. Please work directly with your advisor.
- Requests for changes of lower division to upper division and upper division to lower division credit will not be approved.
- Math equivalencies for other subjects will not be approved. For example, math credit for a business, psychology, or sociology course.
