Applying to Graduate

Students must apply to graduate to complete their degree.

Undergraduate and Law Students

The deadline to apply for graduation in DuckWeb for the current term is Sunday at midnight after the fourth week of classes.

Please note, commencement and graduation are not the same thing. When applying to graduate, always select the term in which all your degree requirements will be completed. You do not need to apply to graduate for spring term to "walk" in the spring commencement ceremony.

The application to graduate is available in DuckWeb through the student menu. Students can apply for graduation up to one year in advance of their graduating term and are encouraged to apply as soon as they've confirmed their graduation eligibility with their academic advisor. Changes to graduation applications may be requested later.
