Transfer Equivalency Tools

Transfer equivalency tools help you understand what may or may not transfer to the University of Oregon. We have two primary tools for students to use when transferring their credits.

Transfer Equivalency Database (TES®)

The University of Oregon has partnered with CollegeSource's Transfer Evaluation System (TES®) to provide students and our partners with a library of our established equivalencies from institutions that we have previously received transfer credit.

Please note that if you do not see a course listed within the equivalency tool, this does not mean that it is not eligible for transfer credit. New equivalencies are added to our database quarterly. When a transcript is received all college-level course work is evaluated and considered for transfer credit. An assessment will be made for either elective credit or general-education elective credit. Our University of Oregon departments determine direct UO equivalents.

Math courses with a focus on math for Elementary Teachers and Elementary Education cannot be used in combination with any other math courses to fulfill the BS Math requirement. They are a stand-alone series. Please contact your advisor within the College of Education for further questions regarding this sequence.

Transferology

When students study at different schools within the state of Oregon, they can use Transferology. Transferology helps students understand what progress they have made toward a degree. The Course Equivalency Guides tell you which courses will transfer. The Degree Evaluation tells you how your courses from other Oregon schools will count toward degree completion.
