Summer Early Degree Conferral

Students applying for undergraduate and law degrees during summer quarter may be eligible for early degree conferral. To obtain early degree conferral, students must apply for the degree during the open period (first day of spring term through the Friday of week four of summer term for undergraduates; the Thursday of week seven of the semester for law students). They also must meet the following conditions: 

  • All grades for summer and past quarters are set. Students cannot be waiting on pending changes. 
  • Major and minors are set.
  • Students should not have pending petitions for registration or with the Academic Requirements Committee. 
  • All completed transfer work should already be processed. 

Graduation processing for early degree conferral is completed:

  • Undergraduate students: by the end of week six of summer term.
  • Law students: by end of week seven of summer term.
