Date Title
Design Mode: Planning Phase: CLSS open for data entry by departments. CLSS is the source of truth.
Deadline: Submit requests for large (70+) and Active Learning Classrooms to the RO using the: Request Form
- Design Mode: Large/Active Room Assignment Phase: Large and Active Learning classroom assignments are added to sections by Academic Scheduling. CLSS closed for departmental changes related to large classroom or active learning classroom assignments.
- Design Mode: Proof Phase: Departments continue to enter course adds and changes into CLSS. Departments submit their schedule for validation in CLSS. Successful validation moves data into Banner.
Validation Open: Departments can begin to validate their schedules on this date: Once validated, scheduling unit is moved to Refine Mode. All validation and workflows must be completed by the Data Entry Deadline.
- Refine Mode: Proof Phase: Schedule data is in Banner and reports are available in Cognos. Departments can add publishing codes and adjust restriction dates in SSADSCT.
Data Entry Deadline: data entry completed and all department sections exist in in CLSS and in Banner - all sections have assigned CRN: Validate well ahead of this date to ensure all sections have moved through workflow. Sections must have a CRN to be included in room assignments.
- Refine Mode: Room Assignment Phase: Academic Scheduling processing for classroom assignments. New sections and changes not allowed during this time.
- Refine Mode: Review Phase: Departments continue to submit additions and edits through CLSS. Some changes will kick off a workflow for approval by Academic Scheduling.
Deadline: Submit combined exam requests through CLSS: Include weekday request in the comments field in CLSS.
